COACHING
Michael Herd is the official Club Coach for Pen-y-ffordd Tennis Club (see news story relating to Mike's appointment in March 2013).

Mike grew up in the north Wales area and went to Mold Alun secondary school. He studied a BSc in Sports Sciences at Bangor University and is a Level 4 tennis coach. He began playing tennis at the age of 9, played for north Wales U18s, and competed against some of the best players in the UK when representing Bangor University. He has coached all ages and abilities with experience dating back as far as 2010.

Mike is available for private coaching at the club's facilities to both members and non-members (members pay a reduced price) and can be contacted via his own website, via this website, or on
