Five pairs of tickets allowed some lucky members of Pen-y-ffordd Tennis Club to experience the excitement of the Wimbledon Championships first hand last summer.

 

As the club is an LTA Registered Place to Play it receives an allocation of show court tickets every year and these are available for members to buy.  Where there is competition for the available tickets the club holds its own internal draw.

 

Anyone who's spent time at the AELTC during Wimbledon Fortnight will tell you what a superb experience it is, and access to these tickets is a worthwhile benefit of being a member of
Pen-y-ffordd Tennis Club.

 

Four members registered their interest in one or more pairs of tickets by the Monday 18th May  deadline and we held a draw in our clubhouse on Thursday 21st May that decided the final allocation...

• Beth Herd is buying the tickets for Wednesday 8th July

• Alison Swanton is buying the tickets for Tuesday 7th July
