Access to clubouse
Adult members of Pen-y-ffordd Tennis Club may request access to the clubhouse and its facilities and should contact the club to request the key box code. The key box is situated next to the clubhouse door and contains a key-on-a-wire to unlock/lock the clubhouse door (see photos below).

Please note the following instructions when using the key box:

Unlock the clubhouse

Flip down the protective black cover
-
Press the small black tab underneath the number pad

Enter the four digit code
-
Press the large black tab above the number pad and pull down the key box's door

Use the key to unlock the clubhouse door

Lock the clubhouse
-
Use the key to lock the clubhouse door
-
Carefully return the key to the inside of the key box
Before closing the key box door please ensure the cable won't snag and cause the box to jam -
Press the small black tab underneath the number pad and enter the code as described above

Press the large black tab above the number pad as you close the key box door

Flip up the protective black cover

Note that access to the clubhouse comes with the following conditions:

The member agrees that the access to the clubhouse will only ever be for themselves or, in the case of a family membership, other adults covered by that membership – the key box code must not be given to junior members or to persons outside of the adult/family membership

The member agrees to always ensure that all lights and taps are turned off when leaving the clubhouse

The member agrees to always ensure that the clubhouse door is securely locked when vacating the premises with the key left inside the key box and the key box door securely closed
-
The member acknowledges that, when they have unlocked the clubhouse, they are responsible for the safety and security of the premises

The member agrees to leave the clubhouse in the same condition or better than when they arrived

The member agrees to join the cleaning rota to assist with keeping the clubhouse interior in a clean and tidy state
